Is this an alien skull on a tomb at St Mary the Virgin, Stansted Mountfichet? It doesn’t look totally human.
 
And there is something unsettling about the mouthless-Jesus in this madonna and child wall painting at the church in Condat-sur-Vezere, Dordogne, France.
